Bread is a good staple in my kitchen since I can make a quick breakfast, dinner, or even lunch with it. Despite loving bread I tried to avoid it for its high carbs and gluten content until I started to discover healthier options both in the market and to make at home. This recipe was recommended by a friend that was on a kept diet, I tried it and it turned out to be so easy and good that I have been doing my almond flour buns since then. Low-carb, gluten-free, soft, and delicious:

150 gr. almond flour

40 gr. flaxseed flour – psyllium

Sesame seeds

3 egg whites

1 tablespoon baking powder

225 ml. hot water

1 teaspoon Salt

Apple cider vinegar (optional)
Equipment
Oven

Preheat the oven to 180° C

Mix the almond flour, flaxseed flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl

Add the hot water, a splash of the vinegar, and the egg whites to the mix and beat constantly for 30 seconds

Form the buns (around 6), sprinkle some sesame seeds, and place them in a tray over baking paper

Bake for 50-60 mins and enjoy!
